China Heritage Quarterly October Issue on 1911 Revolution

China Heritage Quarterly is a rich online source for intellectually diverse writing about modern Chinese history and connections to China today.  Thanks to outreach by its editor, the distinguished Australian National University professor, Geremie R. Barmé, the September 2011 issue, 1911: the Xinhai Year of Revolution, includes several selections of special interest to Baohuanghui researchers.

Directly relevant to the Baohuanghui are Jane Leung Larson's posting from this blog, "An Association to Save China", Gloria Davies' article on Liang Qichao in Australia in 1900 ; an interview with director Evans Chan on his soon to be released docu-drama, Datong: The Great Society, and Scott Seligman's article, "The Night New York's Chinese Went Out for Jews."
